My team did not get into the semi final i think.
The results are not out yet but we only managed to win one game out of three, so go figure!
At first, when i signed up for the netball team...i was just doing it you know, just for fun.
And after a couple of practices, the atmosphere changed.
Green wants to win.
Ok, fine. The fun's all gone. I'm not that enthusiastic anymore to play but i will stay play.
But only for the sake of my teammates and of course for green.
You know why i am reluctant to play?
Because they play rough. Doesn't matter whether you are green, red, yellow, or blue.
i hate it when people play rough.
It makes my body aches and all.
When they play rough,
it means that they don't play abiding by the REAL & APPROPRIATE RULES OF THE GAME.
Because if the rules are being followed strictly, there will not be any body contact whatsoever because you are supposed to be the nearest only 3 feet from your opponent.
Anyways, there's no one here who is a pro in netball,
so there are a few arguments about certain rules among the players.
Don't play rough with me coz i'm vulnerable.
Don't play extremely rough with me coz i'll bite back.
But i guess this kind of situation is inevitable.
I tried my best. Everyone had tried their best.
I ended up with a sprained ankle, a torn sports' slack,
and some bruises here & there....all in 1 night.
Winning isn't everything.
Keep that in mind lah.
Menang sorak pon takpelah kan ye hijau :D
But, i had fun tonite.
When you dun care about winning,
you'll be happier and you might even be able to enjoy the game.
Like my previous post:
being happy is not about getting what you want,
it's about being contented with what you have.
But i do hope the next sports' carnivals to come would be more "telus"
in the game's rules & regulations, or i would just come along to play during practices
but i will refuse to compete.
oh yeah, one more thing...i guess i still played for the game coz i like to play netball too much :)
but i hate it when i have to play with rough people-->makes me emotional -_-" sbb saket~~~
