Tajdid niat

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

I feel really happy upon seeing everyone are really trying hard for the upcoming exam.

They are really studying hard!

Just imagine. If me, who have no connections with you whatsoever,
or maybe for those who are friends with me
or are my sectionmates, we are somewhat connected,
but still, just imagine!

If i feel happy and like the malays say it "sejuk hati" upon seeing you studying hard,
What would be the feelings of your parents and loved ones?

"O Son, what have you gained from philosphy, argumentation, MEDICINE, poetry, astrology, prosody, syntax, and morphology except wasting your time? It was mentioned in the Injil sent down to Prophet Isa that: from the moment in which the dead man is placed in the bier until he is placed on the edge of his grave, Allah SAW asked him 40 questions The first is :

" O my slave! You have purified yourself for years only to gain the praise of the people, and never spent an hour purifying yourself for My sake, whilst everyday I look in your heart. Why are you doing this for the sake of others and not for my sake, while you are encompassed by My nikmat? Are you deaf? Are you heedless?"

*bier=a stand on which a corpse or coffin containing a corpse; it is place to be carried to the grave.

Imam Al Ghazali

But let's just ponder about it for a while. For what are we studying this hard for?

word of the day: cardiac cirrhosis

until next time.
