Friendship doesn't always need togetherness
You don't need to always have to speak to someone
for that person to be your friend

I'll still be your friend
even if you don't consider me as one
I will not ever demand you to clarify
whether we are friends or not
I am your friend

I show you kindness
compassion
love
and how to give
without expecting any returns

Yes, I have been betrayed by so many people
These friends
lie to me
back stab me
talk rubbish about me

but you know
It's ok
Sure, I got irritated and depressed for a time

But the desserts are always served last!
I KNOW that I was right to just be kind to you
Cause more and more of you people came back to me
reconnecting with me
bcoz, you remembered my kindness

I am not perfect
I hurt other people too sometimes
Difference is
I always make up to them in time

I was broke one time because I got robbed
Only one person offered to lend her money to me
while other friends just console me with words
because of that, I feel closer to her
See, even I experience act of kindness
and find that it does strengthen a friendship
this girl, I seldom talk to her
I seldom hang out with her
I don't really see much of her
we don't have much chemistry actually
so, what drove her to trust me enough to lend me her money?
as simple as because
WE ARE FRIENDS

I wonder how can I cry for the death of someone I don't even know
I guess my heart aches for my friend
for it is her sibling who had just died

So, your act of kindness to someone
will leave a permanent imprint in their life
They will remember you

You'll be suprised of how one day
all these people will come back to you
thanking you
