Bismillahirrahmanirrahim
Yesterday was very tiring.
After finishing the last paper, I went sraight back home and started to tidy up my books and wardrobe. It did not took me much time and later I went to go and buy some nuts. Nothing special happened except that I went to Moharram bik with a friend. Just the two of us. We went there with my land lady who kept on insisting that we go and see her kindergarten/Al-Quran teaching center or the locals call it "Dar". Yeah well, Moharram bik is like way way to the center, much away from the seaside. We wanted to go to manshia later that evening so we excused ourselves and thought that we could just get on the tram and go to manshia. That is where the problem starts. Looking at the railway map, the tram do not go to manshia. It does not even have a link going to Manshia or to the familiar mahattah Raml! Oh dear, oh dear, what should we do? We have absolutely no idea where we were at that time. Oh well, we decided to take the taxi to manshia and it only costed us LE 5. Problem solved. Moharram Bik reminds me of Cairo. Dirty, dusty, hot and busy.
Moral: Never go anywhere unprepared. Scary.
It has become a habit of mine not to go to sleep after subuh but in order to prevent myself from sleeping, I usually do some reading. Well, naturally I would read yesterday's lecture notes but now that the exams have finished, I was thinking of reading other books other than medicine for a change. And I was not planning on reading this book,

but TODAY, after the subuh prayer, I decided to read this book.
The book's not actually new to me. I have seen it before like my first time was last year. But I never have the guts to actually read it yet. Well, I was thinking like this book is only for those people who would like to start a relationship and settle down, as in getting married. So, I logicked myself into thinking, if I was to read the book, it's like my "jodoh" is coming nearer and I am not prepared for that yet. Haha, naive thinking of an 18 year old huh?
The medical students community of Alexandria are recently talking A LOT about marriage since there about 10 couples or so I've heard who are going to tie the knot this summer. Many are also getting engaged. And of course it was also because of the exam wave releasing its viruses to cause an epidemic about talks of marriage~!This time, I logicked myself into thinking,
"It is inevitable. As you get older, the time will come when it will be your turn to get married. Sooner or later, whether you like it or not. It is going to happen. It's just nature. I don't know when will my time comes but I thought at the very least, I should be prepared."
So, I read the book. From after subuh prayer until like 7.30am, I managed to read half of the 227 pages book. My comments:
"Nicely written book. It explains a great deal about what is the real meaning in getting married. It is not as simple as ABC. THERE'S MORE TO MARRIAGE THAN JUST PUPPY LOVE. Have a bit of humor, a bit of drama and tragedy. I laughed and smirked. I almost shed a tear or two but most of the time the tears just sat there in my eyes, not wanting to drop. Even only after reading half of the book, there are just too much to share that it would take me too long to write and share it with the readers here. So, try and read the book. 5 star!"
But I managed to read up to the point where Ust Hasrizal wrote that when it comes into picking out your soul mate, find one that TAHU, MAHU, & MAMPU beragama~
I think that's all for now, Wassalam~
