It has been very difficult to concentrate on studying this past few days. Then again, when I think back, I have always been unfocused while I'm doing my revisions. Since my 2nd year is coming to an end, I can't help but to look back and reflect. Of how there were no notes done during my first semester...then, for my 2nd semester, piles of notes in files. How 3rd semster turned out to be and now, 4th semester...From nothing to something. Nothing outstanding. I'm amazed at how I turned myself around. Amazed at how I used to be so hardworking but now maybe I'm just too tired to be as hardworking as I used to be. And yet, people still say I'm hardworking. Well, probably true to most people's general perceptions but not up to my definition of harworkingness.
When I feel wasted and tired and feel like giving up... I really appreciate for those people who encourages me and say, "You can do it. Because it's you."
To some people, hearing people who get good marks whine to them or express to them about feeling all depressed because they feel that they have not prepared themselves all that well for the exams is annoying and irritating. Out of annoyance, they just brush off these people by rolling their eyes or making disgusted faces.
Even if in the end, their results turned out to be ok, probably better than the results of the people they expressed their concerns about not being prepared about exams and all....
It won't hurt to give them words of comfort now wouldn't it?
Because people hold on to each other for strength.
Alas, when all hope is LOST,
Turn to Him.
For He is the best listener
and the only one
who has the power to grant your wishes.
