tight

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

"Results are what matters...motives don't."

Dr Gregory House

"Results are as much as important as motives are. But motives take the upper hand. If you are not doing anything for the greater good or whatever you are doing is not lillahi Taala...then, there's no point in doing it. Meaning, even if the results are ovewhelmingly great, it's meaningless.

Dr Nisaku(Insya Allah)

Man, if someone don't have any religion in them, they could really turn to an atheist just by watching House.

Still, i'm trying to achieve great results but the great thing about being a muslim is that:

If we've been given a good present or good things happen to us, well, that's great right? We'll be happy and give our thanks to Allah. However, if it's the other way around, that's still great huh. Cause we believe that we are being tested by Allah for these hardships because He loves us and wants us to remember Him more cause humans...we tend to only remember God when we are in a tight situation.

There's actually a hadis about this. COuldn't really remmeber the sanad, matan, and the narrators but it goes somewhat like this:

"Ajaib sekali bagi seorg mukmin itu. Apabila dikurniakan nikmat kpdnya, dia bersyukur dan itu baik baginya. Dan apabila ditimpa musibah kpdnya, dia bersabar dan itu baik baginya...ila akhir hadis(ada sambungan rasanya tapi tak ingat)"

It have been quite a tough week for me with the heat exacerbating the situation even more.

Advice of the day:

"Study hard and keep your cool."
