Cherating.

.Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

Okay, i'm actually not in the mood to write in this blog but since my friends kept on asking about the trip to cherating that we made about like a week ago and so here i am, uploading pictures and everything.

We actually got lost on our way to get to the resort and Ustaz shimi had to go and pick us up*shy*.

Now that ustaz Fared has been transferred to cairo, Ustaz Shimi took his place as the Director for the Arabic Language intensive Course@Kursus Intensif Bahasa Arab(KIBA). Ustaz is pretty much the same. Nothing about him changed a bit except that he got a new car.

"Apa pendapat kamu ttg pelajar kiba thn ni?"

"Dorg tak malu langsung, x mcm kitorg dulu," kata psah.

"Tapi dorg gedik ckit la kan. Tu ha,...*censored*"naya klo jr terbaca so, censored.

ust shimi sama mcm dulu, x berubah pon. ketawa pon cam dulu jugak.

That is expected from our juniors as most of them are from SBPIs and MRSMs. They are very enthusiastic, outspoken, not shy at all...all in all, the complete opposite from us, their seniors. From 53 of them, 20 are boys and 33 are girls. Only 20 of them have basics in arabic while the other 33 have absolutely no basics in arabic and so it gave quite a challenge to the lecturers to teach them arabic.

Ustaz kamal is still with ikip. I can't believe that he still remembers me.

"Where is the bitza(pizza)? I'm still waiting the bitza!" -_-"

"Muqotho'ah ya Ustaz!" pizza hut muqotho'ah right?

He still remembers my masrohiyah(stage play) as the mother whose heart was broken by her children because they didn't left any pizza for her for ifthor...~

"Haza romzun yadullu 'ala...." "Launul akhdhor yadullu 'alal islami wa..."

It was their final mukhayyam and just like us last year, every majmu'ah have to present their flag, syi'ar and tasfiq. It was very entertaining to watch them. Like i typed above, they were full of enthusiasm and they did their performances whole-heartedly without any feelings of embarassment or shyness.

erks, ada jugak gitar...dorg guna utk persembahan~

A million thanks to those who came: Faez the Ketua Musyrif, Hasanin, Hafizuddin, Anam, Afiq Fahimy, Iman Dz, Amirah, Sabirah, Syamila, Hakimah and Nafisah.

During the group discussion, quite a few asked:

" korg rasa kt sana, korg ada life x?"

I told them it depends on themselves whether or not they'll have a life in egypt. First of all, how do we define it when we say "have a life!"? Does life= enjoy= fun? To me Masa itu Kehidupan. Our ability to manage and utilize our precious time as a busy medical student to its maximum and actually using it for something that gives us satisfaction, serenity and happiness is how i define having a L-I-F-E. So, it's something very subjective. I watched Oprah today and she said:

"In thousands of interviews that i have made, it always comes back to this; what we really wanted in life is to be seen, accepted and acknowledged by the people around us."well, that is from HER point of view. We as muslims on the other hand, no matter what we want to achieve in life, ALLAH IS NUMBER ONE ON THE LIST! We live for Allah, everything we do is because of Him. Life is searching for Mardhotillah~

However, i asked someone the same question that junior asked me as in whether or not we have a life during our first year in Egypt as a medical student and he said:

" I think i do have a life because if not, i won't be so boring right now at home."

Ustazah Busyra said that many of the juniors this year seemed to come from very rich families. But they are okay, i mean being rich does not necessarily equals to being "evil+snobbish+think that they are superior than other people" though maybe some rich people are like that. They are very friendly individuals once you get to know them. And they also looked very bright and intelligent...well at least to me they looked that way.

Alright, that's all. Until next time!
